Last week we meet Dorivaldo. He went to church a few times in salvador a while back and long story short he has been looking for relief spiritually and physically, we were able to bring the peace that he wanted into his life by teaching about the power of baptism and atonement of Jesus Christ, he already knew most of the lessons and was ready to do whatever it takes to feel the burden of sin taken from him. Most people, when we teach about the word of wisdom, have problems with the reality of this commandment; but this man just said without blinking an eye that we was ready to stop using whatever to feel the sweet spirit in his day to day life even with a habit of smoking. He had shown the most humility that I have ever seen in another living person in my life and I'm tearing up writing this because I realized that we all have room to improve, but are we ready to accept our weaknesses and do something about it or just ignore it? That's the difference between most people; are we willing to put down our pride, even just for a moment to condsider the possibility that we are doing something wrong, without rationalizing, without considering our own wants/desires. We all have pride, so what are we doing to fix it? That's what I love about Dorivaldo, his sincere desire to follow our saviors call, no matter what, because he is more important than us; which only makes it more beautiful for us because the Savior already loves us more than we can comprehend through the atonement. I love being a missionary. I love sharing the gospel, not for personal gain (this is hard work), but the reward really is so great, its eternal, and I wish it for everyone to experience.

Another email-package received
I finally got my box! I was such a nice suprise because I kind of forgot it was coming, like I knew it was but I was working so it wasn't on the mind. Chad, you said that I said I didn't want the magnet nametags anymore? I thought I said the book of mormon in english... but whatever; I was so happy to get it and I love everything that was inside of it (lets just say I got good at that yo-yo as well😜) We went to a ice cream place called Beijo Frio (which means cold kiss😘) and they have all the exotic fruit flavors of ice cream, when we went I got cupuaçu flavor, which I liked. And for P-day today we made hot dogs and played monopoly, so brazil still has the simple things in life.

Transfer 4 Week 2
These past 2 weeks were great! We had a Zone-P-Day which I think I mentioned last week, was super fun with lots of games and BBQ (Brasil style). The mission had a leadership conference so all the DL´s and ZL´s went to salvador for this meeting and all the companions did divisions with the other companions of leaders working in their areas; so it was fun talking with a new person I've never met or place I've been before. After the leaders came back late from the meeting we had to stay the night in Feirra so we went to the integration night which was super fun, they had a trivia game going, and they had food (with cake!).
I think I will write a bunch of small emails with the fotos so its eaiser to read and write (mostly for me)😁 .

Transfer epilogue
This first week of the transfer was awesome! The area is super nice is so many ways (its pretty, has cool old buildings, the people are really friendly, and it gets cold at night, which is a big deal!) And my new companion Elder Dos Santos is amazing, he is such a good missionary. He is district leader here in Serrinha (our area), and in our district we have us and 4 other sisters serving in Coité, so its different than my last area in that we had only one set of sisters, and now we have only one set of elders. I think I'm going to be the next district leader here either in the next transfer or the one after... But we will worry about that later 😋. I'm still getting to know the area so I don't have much to say quite yet because I'm only visited houses so far but next week when I have more time to know the area I will have more to say. The ward here is cute, it has probably the smallest offical building I've seen and the ward has about 80 members that come regularly. We had P-day as a zone at the institute building in Feira de Santana and it was great, we played basketball, uno, fuzeball, pool, checkers, chess, and I brought my nerf guns and water ballons that I got. Needless to say, it was really fun. And some sisters volunteered to make lunch for all of us (about 7-8 companionships). Had a great week and it was fun too, will talk more when I have more time.
Love you guys!
